 HEAR US knows homelessness comes in many forms. It affects children, youth and adults in every part of the country.
Over 1.5 million children endure homelessness in the U.S. Millions of hard-to-count youth also experience homelessness.

Because children and youth have been largely overlooked in the past decades of "modern" homelessness, HEAR US calls attention to their plight.

| This does not diminish the value and needs of the single adult population. It's a humble attempt to level the playing field in the minds of the public and policymakers. |
